Claire has joined our team to provide occupational therapy services for clients of the clinic as well as assisting in providing services to Corangamarah and Mercy where we support our wonderful senior citizens in their supported accommodation.
Claire has a special interest in Paediatrics and helping children with conditions such as Autism, Developmental Delay and Fine Motor Skill Acquisition.
Claire can work with children in the clinic as well as in schools or at home to develop therapy based programs to address their specific needs.
Claire has moved from Geelong where she has also worked in aged care and pain management services as well as working with troubled youth in supported accommodation. Claire is keen to offer her occupational therapy skills to assist people with disabilities to build their capacity to cope in home, school, work and recreational environments. She can assist people returning home after major surgery as well as people who are struggling to cope at home following illness, falls or deteriorating health and confidence.
Claire is available for appointments in the clinic daily.

What is your favourite place in the world?
Having travelled quite extensively internationally it’s difficult to pick just one place. Wherever I travel I do like to explore the parts of countries and places that are rich in culture and history.
What do you love most about the Corio Bay Sports Treatment Clinic?
Working in a supportive and professional environment that is committed to providing it’s clients with holistic approaches to care and opportunities for continued education and development as a practitioner.
What would people be surprised to know about you?
I have an interest in world history (particularly 20th century), events and politics such as the current conflicts in the Middle East
What do you love about being an Occupational Therapist?
Being an occupational therapist provides me with opportunities to support my commitment to the enablement and empowerment of individuals to reach their maximum potential through client centred and holistic approaches to assessment and intervention.
