Senior Receptionist
Carmel began working as a receptionist at CBSTC in January 2000. Prior to this she had worked in administration from 1984 until 1993 when her first son was born. With her second son beginning kindergarten in 2000 the time was right to re-enter the “working world” for a few hours per week. As the Clinic has grown her role in administration has also grown from 2 hours to 30 hours per week.
With support from CBSTC Carmel was able to complete Certificate 4 in Business Administration and has enjoyed taking on new challenges and learning new systems. Carmel is our Pilates and exercise class coordinator and is always able to help our clients find a solution to their enquiries.

Why do you love being a Receptionist?
I love the variety every day, you never know what the day will bring

The Book Thief by Markus Zusak (hard to name just one – I love reading!!)

Anywhere in Tasmania
What do you love most about The Corio Bay Sports Treatment Clinic?
I love that everyone I work with is here basically for the same core reason… we all want to help other people the best way we can

What would people be surprised to know about you?
I just don’t like fizzy drinks (except for champagne strangely!!)
