Exercise physiologists are university trained Health Professionals who are experts in creating safe and realistic exercise program for people of all ages and abilities.  They work with people who need to change their lifestyle habits to either prevent or manage chronic health conditions. At The Corio Bay Sports Treatment Clinic we offer a wide array of Exercise Physiology services, as listed below.

CBSTC’s new exercise physiologist, Nicole Smith, is available for appointments on Wednesday’s at the clinic. Availability is limited, so call in to book your appointment.

Medicare Benefits may also be available for those with chronic conditions. Please speak to your GP for further information. The following benefit schedules may be available:

Chronic disease management: eligible for Medicare funded individual sessions (under GP-approved management plan)
Group services for type 2 diabetes: eligible for 8 group exercise sessions under Medicare
(under GP-approved management plan).

Nicole Smith

Exercise Physiologist

Nicole Smith provides individual exercise sessions and group exercise classes out of CBSTC’s on-site gym. She enjoys working with a variety of clients, particularly in chronic disease prevention and management, and has a background in reformer pilates, personal training and group fitness classes. She has a post-graduate degree in Exercise Physiology.
